Daniel M. Prevedello

Daniel Monte Serrat Prevedello was born and raised in Curitiba, Brazil; now residing in Columbus, OH with his wife and two daughters where he is a practicing Neurosurgeon at the James and Wexner Medical Center at the Ohio State University. He is an Associate Professor and the Director of the Minimally Invasive Cranial Surgery Program of the Neurological Surgery Department at OSU. He graduated from Medical School in 2000 from Federal University of Parana, Curitiba, Brazil. His residency in neurosurgery was completed at the Hospital Nossa Senhora das Gracas in Curitiba, Parana, Brazil in 1/2005. He then completed his fellowship in Pituitary Surgery and Epilepsy at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia, 2/2005 to 6/2006.

Dr. Prevedello then moved to the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine where he completed a Clinical Fellowship in Cerebrovascular and Skull Base Surgery in Department of Neurological Surgery; Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, 8/2006-6/2008. From 7/2008 to 3/2010 he was Assistant Professor at University of Pittsburgh. He became a staff member of the Ohio State University in July 2010.

Dr. Prevedello is proud to welcome patients to a practice where caring and compassion is combined with education and experience to provide the best care in Neurosurgery. He believes that having a knowledgeable team creates excellence in both patient care and clinical results. Outside of his busy schedule at work, he still has time for his family and time to play in a rock and roll band.
